Highland Cemetery, Incorporated, maintains two properties – Independence and Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The Fort Mitchell facility is the headquarters for the company and the place where all company business is conducted.

The facility at Fort Mitchell is on a tract of land over 250 acres in size, half of which is undeveloped and used for the Nature Trails. The facility contains three lakes, hundreds of large trees and rolling hills, waterfalls and streams. 150-acres of this land was turned into a Wildlife Enhancement Program and over 4 miles of hiking trails were installed.

Independence, Kentucky

The facility located on Madison Pike in Independence, Kentucky consists of the original 65-acre tract acquired in 1886 plus an additional 64-acre tract purchased in 1996. It became a division of the non-profit Highland Cemetery on January 1, 1988.
